Travis Olson

Travis Olson has over 25 years of experience in the electrical power industry, currently serving as Transmission System Manager at East River Electric Power Cooperative, Inc. since November 1997. In this role, Travis Olson directs various activities related to transmission, substation, and telecommunications facilities, as well as fleet management. Prior positions at the same company include Transmission Manager, Transmission Construction Superintendent, Area Maintenance Supervisor, Relay Technician, and Power Lineman. Additionally, Travis Olson has a notable background with the SD National Guard, having served in Operations from March 1990 to March 2017. Educational credentials include a Bachelor’s Degree in Organizational Management from Ashford University and an Associate’s Degree in Electrical Construction and Maintenance from Mitchell Technical College.
