David Boyle

David Boyle has a diverse range of work experience in the art and design industry. David currently serves as the Lead Artist at East Side Games since September 2022, where they are responsible for overseeing artistic projects. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Artist at the same company from an unspecified start date in 2021 to September 2022.

Before joining East Side Games, David held the position of Lead - Senior Artist at Big Viking Games for a period of 8 years, from July 2012 to August 2020. During their time there, they worked on various titles for Facebook and mobile devices, showcasing their expertise in art and design.

David also had the opportunity to work as a Freelance Toy Designer at Hasbro from September 2008 to December 2012, specializing in designing toys related to popular IPs such as Iron Man, Spider-Man, Thor, Star Wars, Transformers, and Little Tykes.

Additionally, they worked as a Senior Artist at Antic Entertainment from October 2009 to July 2012. David primarily focused on creating concept and production art for social games, including environments, characters, props, and UI. David also had some managerial responsibilities, overseeing a small team of artists and contractors.

David's career began as a Concept Artist at Team Dystopia in May 2007, where they worked as the main concept artist for characters and environments in the creation of a melee dueling game titled Blade Symphony.

Lastly, they worked as a Concept Art Contractor at Pandemic Studios in October to December 2007, specifically contributing to the production of the game Batman: The Dark Knight by providing prop turnarounds and texture references for environmental objects.

Overall, David Boyle has gained extensive experience working on various artistic projects and demonstrating their versatile skills in the gaming, toy design, and concept art industries.

David Boyle attended the College for Creative Studies from 2002 to 2006, where they earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree. During their time at the college, they focused on studying Industrial Design (Product) and Illustration.
