Youhanna Al-tawil has extensive work experience in the field of pediatric gastroenterology and nutrition. Youhanna served as the Medical Director and President of GI for Kids, a private medical group company specialized in pediatric gastroenterology and nutrition. Youhanna was also the Founder and Medical Director of the same company. In addition, they worked as the Medical Director of Gastroenterology at East Tennessee Children's Hospital and in the Pediatric Gastroenterology department at UT Medical Center. Youhanna is the founder and owner of Sensori systems, llc. Furthermore, they held roles as Acting Chief, Associate Professor, and Fellowship Program Co-Director at Tulane University, and as Assistant Professor Chief, Section of Pediatric Gastroenterology and Nutrition at the University of Kentucky.
Youhanna Al-tawil completed their medical education at Damascus University, graduating with a Medical School degree between 1978 and 1984. Youhanna then pursued a Residency in Pediatrics at Stony Brook University, although the duration of this program is not specified. Finally, from 1993 to 1996, they attended Baylor College of Medicine for a Fellowship in Pediatric Gastroenterology and Nutrition, specializing in the field of Pediatric Gastroenterology Residency Program.
