Prior to East Ventures, Maria has worked in SMDV, Sinar Mas’ corporate venture capital, for the last five years and was responsible for deal execution and portfolio monitoring for startups whose main clients are end customers. An all-rounder, she is extensively familiar with new retail and fintech sector. Her early career was spent in banking, as a Management Associate at Citibank. Maria earned a degree in economics majoring in finance from University of Indonesia, graduating cum laude in 2014.
