Tara Attfield-Tomes is the founder and managing director of EAST VILLAGE., a multi-award-winning PR agency specializing in tech brands. Tara has been involved with the agency since 2013. Tara is also a PR and marketing consultant, with experience working with various businesses, including independent retailers, ecommerce brands, fashion labels, entertainment venues, and exhibitions. Tara co-founded Let's Feed Brum, a charity dedicated to helping those experiencing homelessness, and has been a management committee member for Tabor Living, which provides accommodation and support for the homeless. Tara is a founding member of the BPFS Black Leaders Network, aiming to drive diversity and inclusion in the business sector. Tara is a non-executive director at TAG Network Midlands Limited, a networking community supporting young professionals and entrepreneurs. Tara has also served as a board member and place marketing group chair at ColmoreBID, a business improvement district in Birmingham. Tara is a service patron and ambassador for LoveBrum, a charity supporting local projects, and previously served as the chair of Birmingham Future, a membership organization for the city's business and professional services sector.

Tara Attfield-Tomes attended Solihull Sixth Form College from 2002 to 2004, where they studied English Literature, History, Business Studies, and Media Studies. Tara then went on to DeMontfort University from 2004 to 2008, where they obtained a degree in Advertising and Marketing Communications. Their field of study at DeMontfort University was Marketing.
