Perry Poon

Perry Poon is an accomplished cybersecurity leader with extensive experience in risk management and compliance. Currently serving as Vice President of Cyber Security Risk and Compliance at East West Bank since May 2023, Perry oversees governance and technology-driven processes while providing guidance on risk mitigation. Prior to this role, Perry accumulated over 14 years at KPMG US, advancing from Associate Advisory to Manager Advisory, where responsibilities included leading multi-project engagements and developing consumer data protection programs. Earlier experience at Union Bank focused on system reliability and identifying security risks within the IT infrastructure. Perry holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Information Systems from California State Polytechnic University-Pomona.
