Rakesh Nambiar

Rakesh Nambiar is an accomplished technology executive with extensive experience in digital banking and enterprise analytics. Currently serving as the Chief Digital Officer and Chief Technology Officer at East West Bank since March 2020, Rakesh previously held the position of CTO at Velo Digital Bank from March 2018 to March 2020. Rakesh’s career includes significant roles at U.S. Bank, where responsibilities ranged from Senior Vice President for Enterprise CRM and Analytics to overseeing Digital Banking Delivery, and at Wells Fargo Bank, serving as Vice President for OmniChannel Leads. Early career experiences include consultancy roles at Barclays Global Investors and the International Fund for Agricultural Development, alongside technical positions at Lightbridge and Personic Software. Rakesh holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics Engineering from Shivaji University and has graduated from Stanford University and Dale Carnegie Leadership programs.
