Taylah Castle

Taylah Castle is a dedicated professional with a strong background in arts education and community engagement. Currently serving as a Student Affiliate at the East-West Center, Taylah has previously held roles such as Activity Specialist at Grand Street Settlement, where leadership in an after-school dance program was emphasized, and Dance Instructor at Greenhouse Arts Center, focusing on Hip-Hop classes. Experience also includes serving as a Grant and Communications Fellow for Future Leaders in Action and various positions at New York University, including Residential Assistant, Global Site Ambassador, and Diversity Undergraduate Research Incubator participant. Taylah has contributed to the International Rescue Committee as an Economic Recovery and Development Intern and has experience in student engagement and political campaign support. Education includes a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations from New York University and ongoing graduate studies in Asian International Affairs at the University of Hawaii at Manoa.
