Boris Strečanský is an experienced professional in resource mobilization and civil society engagement, currently serving as a Resource Mobilization Advisor at the East-West Management Institute since November 2021. In this role, Boris provides strategic guidance on domestic resource mobilization for the USAID Civil Society Engagement Program and has extensive experience in developing frameworks to enhance philanthropy and sustainability for civil society organizations. Previous positions include serving as a Peer Learning Expert at the European Community Foundation Initiative, Senior Expert at the Center for Philanthropy, and Founder and Executive Director at multiple organizations focused on philanthropy and community development. Boris holds a Master of Public Policy from Princeton University, a PG Certificate in Social Development from London Metropolitan University, and a degree in History and Philosophy from Univerzita Komenského v Bratislave.
