Caroline Oguaru has extensive experience in financial management and activity operations. Caroline has held various roles at different companies, including the East-West Management Institute and FHI 360. At East-West Management Institute, they served as Director of Financial Management and Activity Operations, Deputy Director of Financial Management and Activity, and Senior Grants and Finance Manager. Caroline'sresponsibilities included ensuring project compliance, managing financial operations, conducting financial training, and supporting procurements and payments. At FHI 360, Caroline worked as a Senior Finance Officer and Finance and Grants Associate, managing sub-contracts and sub-grantees, overseeing financial records and reports, and providing logistical support. Caroline Oguaru pursued their education in a chronological manner, starting from their completion of the Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) at St. Joseph Girls SSS Nsambya from 2000 to 2003. Following this, they proceeded to Nabisunsa Girls School, where they obtained the Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (UACE) in the year 2004-2005. Caroline then attended Makerere University from 2006 to 2009, studying Medical Radiography and earning a Bachelor of Science degree (B.Sc.). Subsequently, they enrolled at the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) from 2010 to 2012, specializing in Accounting and Finance. Finally, in 2020 to 2021, Caroline pursued a Master of Science degree (MSci) in Financial Management at Edinburgh Business School, Heriot-Watt University.
