Ashley MacEli

Ashley Maceli has a range of work experience in various roles and companies. Ashley started their career in 2010 as an Undergraduate Research Program Intern at Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory. In 2011, they worked as a Study Group Leader at Suffolk University. From 2012 to 2014, they held a position as a Research Technician II at Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory.

In 2016, Ashley joined Pop Art, Inc. as a Web Developer Intern, where they built and tested RESTful APIs for digital asset management software. Ashley also resolved bugs and added new functionality with front-end frameworks.

Since 2017, Ashley has been working at Eastern Bank. Initially, they worked as a Junior Web Developer for six months before being promoted to Software Engineer. In this role, they leveraged their knowledge of C#/.NET, JavaScript/Node.js, and SQL to maintain and build applications for core banking. Ashley also developed secure OAuth 2.0.

In January 2022, Ashley was promoted to Senior Software Engineer at Eastern Bank. Ashley continues to contribute to the development and maintenance of banking applications.

Ashley Maceli obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Suffolk University between the years 2008 and 2012. In 2015, they attended the Startup Institute, where they focused on studying Ruby. In 2016, they further expanded their education by completing a program at Epicodus, which covered JavaScript, Java, and Android development.
