Data Governance Program Manager at Eastern Bank

Daniel Donahue has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. Daniel served as the Head of Data Governance at Eastern Bank from September 2019 onwards, where they were responsible for defining and implementing the Enterprise Data Governance Program. Prior to that, they worked at Santander Bank, N.A. from June 2016 to August 2019 as the Director of Data Stewards, overseeing data management and training data stewards. Additionally, at TD from November 2004 to June 2016, Daniel held multiple roles including Vice President, Manager of Commercial and Small Business Data Stewards, Vice President Small Business Credit Risk Manager, and Vice President Regulatory Accounting Manager. Daniel began their career at BNY Mellon in 1989 as a Financial Controller, where they served until November 2004.

Daniel Donahue obtained a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Bentley University, where they studied from 1982 to 1986. In addition to their formal education, they also earned a certification in the Professional Development Series from BigID University in July 2023.
