Myron Peabody has extensive experience in procurement and purchasing roles. Myron started their career in 2006 at the Boston Harbor Hotel, where they served as a Purchasing Manager, responsible for sourcing, purchasing, receiving, and distributing food and beverages. Myron also conducted research, interviewed vendors, and reviewed bids. In 2007, they took on additional responsibilities as an F&B Manager, assisting in the day-to-day management of the restaurant and in-room dining. This included interviewing, scheduling, and training staff, as well as implementing service standards for food and beverage outlets. In 2011, Peabody joined Marriott Hotels as a Purchasing Manager, overseeing the purchasing and procurement department. Their primary responsibilities included supply chain management, analyzing budgets, and developing long-term purchasing strategies. Myron also managed the receiving arm of the food and beverage department and coordinated the distribution of products to various outlets. Peabody worked at Marriott Hotels for nine years before joining Eastern Bank in 2020 as an AVP Operations-Procurement.
Myron Peabody pursued their higher education at Southern New Hampshire University from 2018 to 2021, where they completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Supply Chain Management. Prior to this, they obtained their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, majoring in Management with a specialization in Hospitality Management.
