Michael Bruneau is Chief Financial Officer, a position he has held since September 2019. Mr. Bruneau has been with Eastern Generation and its predecessor, US Power Generating Company, since 2007. Mr. Bruneau has extensive experience in corporate strategy, financing, financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, asset management, market analytics, project development and M&A in the power sector. Before being named CFO Mr. Bruneau served as Senior Vice President, Strategy & Corporate Development for Eastern Generation, a position he had held since January 2016. Prior to that he served as Vice President, Strategy & Corporate Development for US Power Generating Company from 2014 to 2015, as Vice President, Development in 2013, as Director, Strategy & Corporate Development from 2009 to 2012 and as Associate, Strategy & Corporate Development from 2007 to 2008. Prior to joining US Power Generating Company Mr. Bruneau worked as an Analyst in the Corporate & Investment Bank at Citigroup covering various clients across the power sector. Mr. Bruneau holds a dual BA degree in Quantitative Economics and Spanish from Tufts University.

Eastern Generation, LLC (“Eastern Gen”) owns and operates seventy-two generating units at seven facilities totaling approximately 5,000 megawatts through its Astoria Generating, New Covert, Lincoln, Crete and Rolling Hills subsidiaries. Eastern Gen sells capacity, energy and ancillary services into the NYISO and PJM merchant markets. Eastern Gen’s Astoria Generating assets account for over 18% of New York City’s power generation capacity. Eastern Gen is a portfolio company of ArcLight Capital Partners, LLC.
