Andrew McGlinchey

Andrew McGlinchey has a diverse work experience in various roles within the scientific field. Andrew started their career as a Biomedical Scientist at Alfred Health in 1999 and worked there until 2004. Andrew then joined Whittington Health as a Senior Specialist Biomedical Scientist in 2006 and stayed with the company until 2016. Following that, they worked at Melbourne Pathology as a Grade 3 Scientist from 2016 to 2018. Currently, they are employed at Eastern Health, where they have held the positions of Senior Scientist from 2018 to 2022 and is currently serving as a Principal Scientist.

Andrew McGlinchey completed their Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree in Medical Laboratory Science from RMIT University from 1997 to 2000. Andrew then pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Medical Microbiology from Queen Mary University of London from 2007 to 2009.
