Kate Houghton

Kate Houghton (Watson) serves as the Associate Director of Quality, Planning, and Innovation at Eastern Health since April 2012, with a history of progressive roles in quality planning across various medical sectors. Prior experience includes serving as Improvement Manager at Melbourne Health from 2009 to March 2012 and completing a Management Residency Program at the Australasian College of Health Service Management, which provided exposure to leadership in health services at several notable institutions. Additionally, Kate held the position of Senior Administration Officer in Outpatients at Mercy Health from December 2000 to January 2008. Kate's educational background includes a Master of Health Administration and dual Bachelor's degrees in Health Science and Business, Public Health and Management from La Trobe University, along with a Bachelor's degree in Arts, Psychology from Deakin University.
