Matt Roan

Matt Roan is the Vice President of Athletics & Campus Recreation at Eastern Kentucky University. Matt has held various positions at Eastern Kentucky University, the University of Kentucky, and the University of Dayton School of Law. Matt also worked as a law clerk and as an assistant postgraduate football coach. In their current role, they are responsible for the overall operation and administration of the department.

Matt Roan received their J.D. from the University of Kentucky J. David Rosenberg College of Law and their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Political Science from Southern Utah University. Matt also has a history minor from Virginia Tech.

Their manager is David T. Mcfaddin, President. They work with Barry Poynter - SVP, Finance & Administration, Tanlee Wasson - SVP, Student Success, Engagement & Opportunity, and Sara L. Zeigler - Provost & SVP, Academic Affairs.
