Dena Krichinsky

Inspired as an undergraduate by her work at her university’s recycling center, Dena Krichinsky focused her career on waste reduction. She designs and implements environmental partnership programs and educational campaigns aimed at encouraging and supporting diverse groups—including businesses, schools, governments, trade organizations, and the public—to reduce their waste footprint. This multifaceted work has ranged from developing detailed reports on the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s Headquarters recycling program to providing businesses with one-on-one technical assistance on how to implement a successful waste reduction program.

Dena holds a B.S. in environmental conservation from the University of New Hampshire and an M.S. in environmental science and policy from Johns Hopkins University.
