Sarah Cashman, an LCA expert, manages projects for public sector clients, industry associations, and private companies to assess the life cycle impacts of processes and products. She develops customized life cycle models for different software platforms and leads projects to apply these models—work that includes collecting primary LCA data, building life cycle inventory databases and models, and developing LCA presentations for non-technical audiences. Through this work, she has gained strong technical knowledge of consumer packaging systems, energy resources and technologies, chemicals, building products, drinking water and wastewater treatment technologies, and agricultural operations.
Sarah holds a B.A. in environmental science from Colorado College and an M.S. in natural resources and the environment, with a focus on sustainable systems, from the University of Michigan.
