Guest Support (seasonal) at Eastern State Penitentiary Historic Site

Krystal Ortega, M.S., currently serves as the Executive Assistant of External Affairs at The Franklin Institute since June 2024. Simultaneously, Krystal is employed as a seasonal Guest Support staff member at Eastern State Penitentiary Historic Site, Inc., starting in September 2022. From October 2022 to June 2024, Krystal held the position of Executive Assistant and Board Liaison at Women Against Abuse, Inc. Prior experience includes roles as Administrative Project Manager and Administrative Associate at RiteChoice Pharmacy from June 2020 to September 2022, and an Apprentice at Lantern Theater Company from July 2019 to March 2020. Krystal began a career in the arts with an internship in Theatre Programs and Project Development at the National Constitution Center in 2018. Educationally, Krystal obtained a Master of Science in Nonprofit Administration - Management from LSU Shreveport in 2023 and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre from the University of the Arts between 2017 and 2019.
