R. Reid Dunbar

R. Reid Dunbar is the Senior Vice President at EastGroup Properties. R. has over fifteen years of experience in the commercial real estate industry. R. has held various positions including regional investment officer, senior financial analyst, and financial analyst. In their current role, they oversee all development and acquisition activity.

Prior to joining EastGroup Properties, Mr. Dunbar was with Prologis for twelve years where they served as the Regional Investment Officer for Texas and Tennessee markets. In this role, they and their team were responsible for over $5000M of acquisitions and $600M of development and BTS activity. Some of their notable transactions include those with Amazon, Pepsi, BMW, Ulta, Genuine Parts, and Trane.

Before Prologis, Mr. Dunbar worked as a Senior Financial Analyst for Solectron and Asia Global Crossing. R. started their career in 1998 as a Financial Analyst for Mattel Toys.

Mr. Dunbar holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from the University of Southern California.

R. Reid Dunbar received their MBA in Real Estate Finance from the Texas McCombs School of Business and their BBA in Finance, General from The University of Texas at Austin.
