Gareth Sheppard

Gareth Sheppard is an experienced professional in the field of chemistry and technology management, currently serving as Technology Manager for Adhesives at Eastman since July 2013. Previously held positions include Senior Scientist and Advanced Scientist at Eastman, as well as research roles during a PhD program at the University of Georgia from August 2007 to December 2012. Significant contributions include developing novel sensors and microfluidic devices, as well as creating a nanoparticle drug delivery system. Gareth Sheppard also brings experience as a Visiting Scholar at Niigata University in Japan and has held roles at The Coca-Cola Company and USDA-ARS, focusing on product quality and aflatoxin analysis. Gareth Sheppard earned a PhD in Chemistry from the University of Georgia, a BS in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology, and two Associate degrees in Science from Darton College.
