James Bruno

James Bruno is a seasoned chemical engineer with extensive experience in both academia and industry. Currently serving as a Senior Chemical Engineer at Eastman since July 2022, James previously held the position of Senior R&D Engineer at Fresenius Medical Care North America, where responsibilities included the development of a home hemodialysis machine and optimization of plastics welding processes. James's academic background includes a postdoctoral research associate role at Trinity University and a PhD in Chemical Engineering from Louisiana State University, where also a Master's degree in the same field was earned. Early career experiences involved process engineering internships at Rand Whitney Containerboard and SCA Americas, alongside significant involvement in leadership activities as a Resident Assistant at Western Michigan University.
