John Robertson

John Robertson is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in supply chain management and analytics. Currently serving as the Inventory and Analytics Manager and IBP Project Lead at Eastman since January 2015, John has successfully led one of the most comprehensive IBP implementations, contributing to significant financial impacts including $15M EBIT and $65M cash impact in 2023. Previously, John held roles as a Supply Chain Analyst at Eastman, where advanced analytical tools were utilized for data analysis and process improvement, and as a Research Assistant at Virginia Tech collaborating with Rolls Royce on quality control research. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Industrial and Systems Engineering from Virginia Tech, complemented by an internship at Eastman Chemical Company and a senior design project with The Hershey Company that aimed at improving production efficiency.
