Neal Whitten

Neal Whitten, P.E. (TN), serves as the Environmental Affairs Manager for Environmental Operations at Eastman since September 2013, where responsibilities include overseeing water and waste operations. Previously, Neal held various roles at Eastman, including Group Leader for Environmental Operations and Senior Environmental Representative, and started in the wastewater treatment area as a Staff Engineer. From January 2006 to September 2013, Neal worked as the Assistant Director of Water/Wastewater Services for the City of Johnson City. Additionally, Neal was an Assistant Professor at East Tennessee State University from August 2001 to July 2006. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Civil Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, both obtained from the College of Engineering at Tennessee Technological University.
