Sarah Gilbert

Sarah Gilbert is an experienced media professional currently serving as a Board Member at Eastside Radio 89.7FM and Executive Producer at the University of Technology Sydney's Impact Studios. Gilbert also works as a Writer/Director for WildBear Entertainment on history series for ABC Television, while contributing to media studies as a tutor and lecturer at UTS since 2010. A freelance researcher and producer since 2007, Gilbert has an extensive portfolio that includes notable productions for ABC and SBS. An Oral History Fellow at the Australian Centre for Public History in 2022, Gilbert previously held positions as a digital journalist/editor at SBS and authored guidebooks for Lonely Planet. Educational qualifications include a Doctorate in Creative Arts from Western Sydney University, a Masters of Journalism from Columbia University, and law and philosophy degrees from UNSW and the Australian National University.
