ScottyB Baxter has a diverse work experience in the field of soccer coaching and design. ScottyB is currently serving as the Head Soccer Coach for Eastside Timbers & Thorns FC. Prior to this, they worked as a Creative Designer, Photographer, and Art Director for their personal site, "rua19," where they showcased their marketing and branding portfolio. ScottyB also held positions as a Head Coach and Age Group Coordinator for FC Portland and as a Head Coach & Assistant Coach for Eastside Thorns FC. ScottyB has experience coaching high school teams, including being the Head Coach for Girl's Soccer at De La Salle North Catholic High School, Head Coach for JV Boys Soccer at Chelsea High School, and Girls Varsity Soccer Head Coach at Ypsilanti High School. Additionally, they worked as an Assistant Women's Soccer Coach and Goalkeeper Coach at Jackson College and as a Goalkeeper Coach for Chelsea High School Girls Varsity Soccer. In 2014, ScottyB was the Head Soccer Coach for Boys at Michigan Tigers Futbol Club, where they developed and implemented training programs based on the U.S. Soccer curriculum.

ScottyB Baxter has a diverse education history. ScottyB obtained a Master's Degree in Recreation and Sport Science from Ohio University, where they studied from 2011 to 2013. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Speech/Theater from The College of Wooster, attending from 1970 to 1975. In high school, they obtained a diploma from Graded - The American School of São Paulo, studying there from 1969 to 1970. Before that, they attended Lawrence Twp High School from 1966 to 1968, but did not earn a degree or specify a field of study.

In addition to their academic achievements, ScottyB Baxter holds various certifications. ScottyB obtained a National C License from the U.S. Soccer Federation in August 2019 and a Fundamentals of Coaching certification from NFHS Licensing in 2018. ScottyB also holds certifications in Heat Illness/APEDS from NFHS Licensing in 2018, First Aid CPR/AED from the American Red Cross in March 2017, and USSF National D from the U.S. Soccer Federation in November 2015. Furthermore, they have an Illinois Teaching Certificate 39 from the State of Illinois obtained in May 2013. Other certifications include PCA Double Goal Coach from the Positive Coaching Alliance in February 2013, US National Youth License from the U.S. Soccer Federation in July 2012, ASEP – IHSA from the American Sport Education Program in January 2012, NSCAA National Goalkeeping 3 from NSCAA in November 2011, NSCAA National Diploma from NSCAA in March 2011, and Referee Grade 8 from the United States Soccer Federation in January 2001.
