Matt Lane

Matt Lane has extensive experience in leadership and the arts, currently serving as Chief Executive and Artistic Director at Eastside since January 2017. Previously, Matt held the position of Head of Royal Opera House Thurrock and Thames Gateway at the Royal Opera House from April 2007 to December 2016. Earlier career experience includes working as a Community Development Officer at Ponders End Community Development Trust from April 2004 to April 2007. Matt Lane's educational background includes degrees in Medicine and Cellular and Molecular Pathology from University College School and the University of Bristol, where Matt also earned a Doctor of Medicine and a Bachelor of Science.
