Damien Buhagiar

Damien Buhagiar has a diverse work experience that spans over a significant period of time. Damien began their career at Rowland Hall in 2004 as an Account Trainee, where they were responsible for working on various clients and preparing statutory accounts for management review. In 2007, they joined International Financial Data Services (IFDS) as a Client Financial Reporting specialist, where they took on a range of responsibilities, including maintaining the general ledger system, leading meetings with clients, contributing to management meetings, and resolving queries from clients and internal contacts. Damien also traveled to India to train colleagues and outsource work. In 2015, Damien joined Northern Trust Corporation as an Officer in the Client Investment and Reporting department, where they provided oversight for the production and delivery of valuation reports, ensured accuracy and quality control of client reports, and met set deadlines. In 2016, they moved to J.P. Morgan Asset Management, where they held the position of Fixed Income RFP Writer until 2023. Currently, Damien is employed at Eastspring Investments as an RFP Writer.

Damien Buhagiar completed their secondary education at The Deanes School from 1997 to 2002, where they obtained all GCSEs with grades A*-C, with a focus on mathematics. Damien then went on to attend Seevic College from 2002 to 2004, where they pursued A-levels in Mathematics, Law, and Accounting, with a specialization in Accounting. In addition to their formal education, Damien has also acquired certifications such as the Certified Accounting Technician from BPP Professional Education London and the Investment Operations Certificate from International Financial Data Services.
