Yi-Chun Chen (Sophie)

Yi-Chun (Sophie) CHEN has a diverse range of work experience in the financial industry. Yi-Chun (Sophie) started their career in 2013 as an intern at Cathay Life Insurance, where they gained experience in fixed income investment. In 2014, they interned at CitiBank Taiwan in the corporate banking division.

In 2014, Yi-Chun joined Eastspring Investments as a Product Manager, focusing on product development and market research. After a year, they transitioned to Allianz Global Investors as an Assistant Vice President, working in the institutional business segment. Yi-Chun (Sophie) held this role until 2018.

Yi-Chun then joined Nomura Asset Management in 2018 as a Product Development Manager, specializing in product and business development. Yi-Chun (Sophie) stayed with the company until 2019.

Currently, Yi-Chun is working at Eastspring Investments as an Assistant Vice President in Institutional Sales, a role they took on in 2020.

Yi-Chun (Sophie) CHEN completed their Master of Business Administration in Finance from National Taiwan University between 2012 and 2014. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Risk Management and Insurance from National Chengchi University, graduating in 2012. In November 2020, they earned the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst certification from the CAIA Association.
