Tim Montoya

Tim Montoya is a seasoned cybersecurity expert with extensive experience in risk management and architecture across various prestigious organizations. Currently serving as Vice President of Cyber Security Risk at East West Banking Corporation since September 2025, Tim has previously held significant positions at MUFG, including Director of Cybersecurity and IAM Architecture and Engineering, and Senior Cyber Security Architect. Tim's career also includes a role as Senior Vice President and Senior Security Architect Manager at Bank of America, as well as key positions at Hi-Tec Sports USA and Medic Alert Foundation, where foundational skills in information systems and Unix administration were developed. Tim Montoya earned a Bachelor's degree in Information Systems from the University of Phoenix from 2006 to 2010.
