Silia Kamarotou

Silia Kamarotou has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in the field of user experience research and design. Silia is currently working as a UX Researcher at EasyPark Group, a leading parking tech company that provides solutions for drivers, businesses, and cities. Prior to this, they held the role of a UX Designer & Scrum Master at GUTS Tickets, where they utilized blockchain technology to create a fair and user-friendly ticketing platform. Silia also worked as a UX Researcher at Novility and as a UX Analyst at Valtech Netherlands. Silia gained valuable experience as a User Experience Research Intern at Mirabeau, focusing on qualitative and quantitative research in the e-commerce industry. Before entering the field of user experience, they interned as a Social Research Intern at Verwey-Jonker Instituut, where they contributed to projects on juvenile delinquency and the Dutch Juvenile Justice System. Silia also worked as a Social Research Intern at the National Centre for Social Research and as a Research Assistant at Panteion University.

Silia Kamarotou pursued their education at the Panteion University of Social and Political Sciences from 2009 to 2014, where they completed their Bachelor's degree in Social Psychology. Following this, they attended the University of Amsterdam from 2015 to 2016, where they obtained their Master's degree in Sociology.
