Gustavo Schmidt

Gustavo Schmidt currently serves as Vice President of the Electrical Sector for Latin America and Corporate President of Mexico at Eaton since April 2022. Prior to this role, Gustavo held various leadership positions at Siemens Energy from February 2019 to April 2022, including Vice President of Transmission Products & Systems for Mexico, Central America, and the Caribbean. Gustavo's extensive experience at Siemens from January 1998 to January 2019 encompasses roles such as CEO of High Voltage Products and General Manager of Distribution Transformers in Brazil, overseeing all operational aspects. Gustavo's project management expertise includes a focus on HVDC transformers and a proven track record in managing multicultural and multilingual projects. Educational qualifications include a Master's in Business Administration from FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas (2008-2009) and Centro Universitário Padre Anchieta (2005-2006), alongside a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Universidade São Francisco (1998-2003).
