James Owens serves as the Vice President of Operations at Eaton since March 2020, following a substantial career in various leadership roles within the automotive industry. Prior to Eaton, James held the position of Director of Global Operations at Aptiv for nearly three years and directed operations in North and Central America at Delphi, overseeing multiple manufacturing sites and managing substantial revenue streams. Previous experience includes significant roles at Borg Warner Automotive and TE Connectivity, where James was integral in strategic manufacturing initiatives and new business growth. Early career foundations were established at General Motors, where James progressed through various executive positions, emphasizing lean manufacturing practices, operational excellence, and managerial oversight in complex automotive production environments. James holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology from Purdue University.
