Karthik Rajan Venkatesan

Karthik Rajan Venkatesan is a Lead Modeling Engineer specializing in Computational and Material Science at Eaton, where responsibilities include leading R&D efforts in material and process modeling for U.S. funded technical projects since May 2022. Prior experience includes serving as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Arizona State University from August 2017 to April 2022, where Karthik focused on the structure-property relationships of advanced materials, mentored students, and contributed to research funding proposals. Earlier roles at Arizona State University involved formulating high-fidelity multiscale models and fatigue crack growth models, as well as a brief experience as a Project Trainee at Arabian Amines Company. Karthik holds a PhD and a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Arizona State University, along with a Bachelor's degree from Anna University Chennai.
