Umesh Patel

Umesh Patel currently serves as the Board Chair for Electro-Federation Canada since May 2024, focusing on governance and strategic guidance for the leadership team. Since January 2013, Umesh has held the position of Director of Marketing and Commercial Operations at Eaton, overseeing a diverse team in Canada. Previously, Umesh was the General Manager of the Power Quality Division at Eaton, achieving significant sales growth and operational success. Earlier experience includes various leadership roles at Honeywell Process Solutions, including Business Operations Director for frontier countries and Sales Director for the Americas, where responsibilities encompassed P&L management and strategic marketing initiatives. Umesh holds a Master of Engineering in Process Control from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Waterloo.
