Dang Yang

Dang Yang has extensive work experience in diversity, equity, and inclusion. They currently hold the position of Director of Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion at the Eau Claire Area School District. Previously, they worked as a Coordinator at Marshfield Clinic Health System in 2022. From 2018 to 2022, they served as the Director at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, overseeing academic and support services for students of color and other underrepresented populations. Prior to that, Dang held the role of Diversity Manager at Chippewa Valley Technical College from 2016 to 2018, and before that, they were the Multicultural Recruitment & Retention Coordinator at the University of Wisconsin-Stout, School of Education from 2008 to 2016.

Dang Yang completed their Associate of Arts and Sciences (A.A.S.) degree from the University of Wisconsin-Marathon County in the years 2002 to 2004. They then pursued a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Public Communications from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, graduating between 2004 and 2008. Following this, Dang Yang attended the University of Minnesota from 2011 to 2014, earning a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Multicultural College Teaching & Learning.
