Allan Boyd is a serial entrepreneur and advisor who is currently based in New York City. Allan has over 15 years of experience in the technology industry and has co-founded several businesses in the past. Allan is currently an advisor at Eazel, a company that offers artists and venues the best-in-class solution for virtualizing the viewing experience of fine art and making it available online. Prior to their current role, they served as the CTO of Boundless Impact Investing, a social impact investing firm, for 2 years and 2 months.

Allan has also been an active member of the Forbes New York Business Council for 3 years and 11 months, where they have contributed various articles on entrepreneurship and business. In addition, they have served as an advisor for Atlantic GPS and eazel inc., where they provided advice on technical due diligence and growth strategy.

Before becoming an advisor, Allan was the COO of AetherWorks LLC., a software R&D firm based in New York City. During their 7 years and 8 months with the company, Allan helped patent new technology, build original software, and invest in early stage companies. Some of their notable projects include ActiveAether (US Patent 9,055,026), a global serverless computing platform, and AetherStore (US Patent 9,542,466), a private local cloud that reduces IT hardware expense and management.

Allan started their career as a systems analyst/consultant at Aquila Heywood and later became the CEO & Co-Founder of IT Onsite, a business that provides onsite IT support for small businesses. Allan ran the company for 2 years and 5 months before moving on to other ventures.

Allan Boyd graduated from the University of St. Andrews with a BSc (Hons) in Computer Science in 2005. Allan also won several business awards during their time at the university, including the Scottish Institute for Enterprise Business Award for Best Growth Potential in 2005 and the Scottish Institute for Enterprise Business Award for Best Overall Business in 2004. In addition, they were the Scottish Champion in the Enterprising Mathematics Scotland competition in 2000 and placed 5th in the same competition in 1999. Boyd then went on to complete a Product Management program at the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business.
