Melissa Villamizar

Melissa Villamizar is an experienced design professional currently serving as a Senior Design Manager at eBay, focusing on Buyer Payments, Trust/UPI, Protections, and E2E Strategy since May 2022. Prior to eBay, Melissa held the position of Head of User Experience at MoneyGram International, building the UX organization from the ground up and guiding the design strategy for various products. Melissa's extensive career also includes roles at Bottle Rocket as an Experience Design Strategist and Information Architect, where responsibilities spanned product vision, team leadership, and user research. Additionally, Melissa has a background as a Group Fitness Instructor and Certified Personal Trainer at Sweat60 Infrared, and previously owned Mezar Studios, offering services in branding and fine art. Educational credentials include a degree in Fine Art, Graphic Design, and Photography from Bowling Green State University and further studies at Studio Arts Centers International in Florence, Italy.
