Poornima Venkatakrishnan

Poornima Venkatakrishnan is an experienced engineering leader currently serving as the Director of Engineering for Buyer Experiences at eBay since January 2025 and also working as a Placement Coach and Mentor at Inclusive World, focusing on creating opportunities for individuals with disabilities. Prior to these roles, Poornima held various key positions at PayPal from November 2012 to July 2024, including Director of Treasury Services Engineering and Director of Engineering for Merchant Servicing Experiences, where responsibilities encompassed building stable solutions for transaction processing and fostering cross-team collaboration. Poornima's earlier experience includes roles at Plato as a Technical Leadership Mentor, Veetle Inc. as a Sr Software Engineer, and Palm Inc. as a Senior Engineer, contributing to WebOS applications. Poornima holds an MS in Computer Science from Indiana University Bloomington and a B.Tech in Information Technology from the University of Madras.
