Purshottam Shivraj

Purshottam Shivraj is an experienced data scientist with a strong background in machine learning and data analysis. Currently serving as a Staff Data Scientist at eBay since July 2019, Purshottam has contributed to significant projects, including the development of an Ensemble pipeline of classifiers that achieved a model accuracy of 97%. Previously, Purshottam held roles as a Data Scientist at both eBay and the University of Washington eScience Institute, as well as a Data Science Intern at eBay. Purshottam was recognized as a Kaggle Competition Master, ranking in the top 0.3% of participants. Additional experience includes work at Media iQ Digital Ltd, where Purshottam developed dashboards for predictive modeling and campaign optimization. Purshottam holds a Master's degree in Data Science from the University of Washington, completed in 2019.
