Sean Gill

Sean Gill has extensive experience in the field of data engineering and architecture. Sean currently holds the position of Director of Data Engineering at ebbo since July 2021. Prior to this role, they worked as a Platform Architect at the same company from September 2019 to July 2021.

Before joining ebbo, Sean worked at Ports America as an Enterprise Data Architect from September 2017 to September 2019. Sean also held the roles of Senior Business Intelligence Developer from June 2016 to September 2017, and Senior Database Administrator III from September 2013 to June 2016.

Prior to their tenure at Ports America, Sean worked at EDMC as a Database Administrator III from February 2011 to September 2013.

Sean also gained experience at Element Payment Services as a Senior Database Engineer from January 2010 to April 2010.

Sean’s career began at GoDaddy, where they worked as a Senior Database Engineer from January 2008 to January 2010. During their time there, they played a lead role in a strategic Business Continuity Project, mentored colleagues, and participated in various data migrations and system monitoring.

Prior to GoDaddy, Sean served as a Technical Manager at Ticketmaster from April 2001 to January 2008.

Overall, Sean Gill has acquired a wealth of experience in data engineering, architecture, and management throughout their career.

Sean Gill holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Psychology from Lake Forest College. In addition to their degree, they have obtained several certifications including Bronze Certified Coach from USA Wrestling in May 2013, SafeSport Trained from the U.S. Center for SafeSport in October 2018, Wrestling Leader from USA Wrestling in October 2018, and CBIP - Data Analysis and Design from TDWI in May 2017.
