Robin van Gemeren has a diverse work experience that spans over many years. They started working at Akkermans & Partners Support in 2005, where they were temporarily deployed at Zwitserleven and Interpolis Pensions. From 2005 to 2008, they served as a Junior Pension Administrator at Syntrus Achmea Pensioenbeheer before being promoted to Senior Pension Administrator. In this role, they supported the team manager, carried out projects, executed tests, and assisted colleagues with process questions. From 2011 to 2013, they worked as a Junior Business Analyst, working according to Waterfall, at Syntrus Achmea Pensioenbeheer. They were responsible for making specifications for a website, maintaining user and business requirements, and managing the "nationaal pensioenregister." From 2014 to 2016, they served as a Medior Business Analyst, working in a Scrum environment with Lean applied at Syntrus Achmea Pensioenbeheer. Their responsibilities included informing and advising stakeholders, analyzing wishes and demands, and ensuring that the desired outcomes were achieved. Currently, Robin is employed at eBenefits B.V. as a Senior Business Analyst, where they are involved in creating functional designs, monitoring the development process, and testing new functionality.

Robin van Gemeren attended ROC de Amerlanden from 1996 to 1999, where they obtained an MBO degree in Sociaal Juridisch dienstverlening. They then attended HBO Utrecht from 2000 to 2002, earning an HBO degree in Information Technology. Later, from 2003 to 2004, they returned to HBO Utrecht to study Social, Law, and Human Resource Management.
