Mauricio Martínez Jiménez

Mauricio Martínez Jiménez is a software developer with extensive experience in both backend and frontend development. Currently positioned at the European Bioinformatics Institute (EMBL-EBI) since January 2019, Mauricio works within the Patient Derived Cancer Models (PDCM) team. Prior to this role, Mauricio contributed as a software developer in the Mouse Informatics team at the same organization. Between November 2015 and December 2018, Mauricio served as a contractor for PROS, specializing in price optimization and sales effectiveness software. Mauricio's earlier experience includes five years as a software developer at Open Systems, where skills in PL/SQL, Oracle, Java, and .NET were utilized. Mauricio holds a Master’s degree in Computer Software Engineering and an undergraduate degree in Systems Engineering from Universidad del Valle in Colombia.
