Supun Wijerathne

Supun Wijerathne is a Full Stack Developer at the European Bioinformatics Institute (EMBL-EBI) since September 2020, with a strong background in software engineering. Supun has contributed to Stack Overflow since January 2016, achieving notable recognitions including being in the top 5% for Java. Prior experiences include roles as a Senior Software Engineer at Monotch and CodeGen International, and Software Engineer positions at M800 Limited and Zone24x7 Inc., where Supun worked on Java Microservices and web portal transaction systems. Supun began as a Software Engineer Intern at WSO2, focusing on SOA Middleware. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science (Engineering)(Hons) in Computer Science & Engineering from the University of Moratuwa and an Advanced Level certification from Royal College Colombo.
