Patrick Allen

Patrick Allen is an experienced professional in the fire, emergency, and security systems industry, currently serving as an Independent Consultant and Chair of the Employer Group for the Fire Emergency Security Standard (FESS) Trailblazer Apprenticeship since November 2014. Patrick has held key leadership positions, including Chair and Vice Chair of the Fire & Security Association (FSA) from 2013 to the present, and has represented FSA on the NPCC Security Liaison Committee since 2008. Previously, Patrick directed operations at Abel Alarm Company Limited from 1974 to 2019, overseeing quality assurance and health and safety measures. Additionally, Patrick contributed to the Technical Development Committee of ECA from 2009 to 2013 and began a technical career at the General Post Office from 1968 to 1974.
