Andrea Günther

Andrea G. is currently a PhD student at the Università degli Studi di Trieste, focusing on research related to the Paleogene Mass-Transport Deposits of the Julian-Slovenian Basins, with an emphasis on emplacement mechanisms and tsunamigenic potential. Andrea also holds the position of Ricercatore borsista, involving geological surveying for the CARG ISPRA project. Previous experience includes owning a children's clothing representation company for over a decade and working as a geologist for various organizations, including Geoside Geofisica and GEOSEC ITALIA, where responsibilities encompassed geophysical and geological investigations. Internships at the Helmholtz-Centre Potsdam and the Icelandic Institute of Natural History involved field sampling and data analysis. Andrea obtained a Master's Degree in Geology from the Università degli Studi di Padova between 2014 and 2017.
