Brian Screnar

Brian Screnar has worked in various roles since 2008. Brian began their career as the Deputy Finance Director for Obama for America, where they managed daily operations and strategic fundraising development for the historic Obama Presidential campaign. In 2008, they also served as the Finance Director for the Presidential Inaugural Committee. Following this, they were the Deputy Chief of Staff and White House Liaison for the U.S. Department of the Interior in 2009. From 2011 to 2013, they were the State Director for Senator Maria Cantwell, directing the Senator's federal operations in Washington State. From 2013 to 2019, they were the Chief of Staff to the Founder and CEO of Intellectual Ventures, managing internal business operations across the firm's investment funds. From 2019 to 2021, they were a Partner at New Profit, directing the launching of the firm's west coast operations and managing community engagement, strategic communications and investment sourcing. From 2021 to 2022, they were the Head of Global Operations at Otaaki and a Member of the Board of Advisors at Markup LLC. Most recently, they have been the Vice President of Business Operations & Government Relations at Ecellix Inc., where they have been working on the company's breakthrough eCell\u2122 high silicon-content anode technology.

Brian Screnar received a Bachelor's degree in International Relations and Affairs from Tulane University between 1993 and 1997. Brian also attended The American University of Paris.
