Paul Tanner

Paul Tanner is an experienced professional in the furniture and lighting industry, currently serving as the Director of E-Commerce, Product Development, Sourcing & Buying at Echelon Workplaces since May 2020. Echelon partners with prominent co-working brands, including WeWork, to deliver over 700,000 desks and chairs. Previously, Paul co-founded and managed Freedom To Exist from November 2015 to December 2020, launching a successful Kickstarter campaign for affordable timepieces. As Managing Director at Hayche, Paul led a contract furniture startup with a focus on rebranding and team management. Paul's earlier experience includes senior roles at Marks and Spencer, where oversight of a £135 million turnover and a team of five Assistant Buyers was crucial, and positions at MADE.COM and Habitat, where significant product development and purchasing responsibilities were undertaken. Paul holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Industrial Design from Brunel University of London.
