P.eng. Ryan Mooney

Ryan Mooney, P.Eng., CFA has extensive work experience in the investment banking and energy sectors. Ryan is currently the Managing Director of Investment Banking for Western Canada, specializing in energy and diversified opportunities, at Echelon Wealth Partners. In addition, they serve as a Member of the Board of Directors for both Gazelle Energy Limited and Highwood Asset Management Ltd. Previously, Ryan held senior roles at Cormark Securities, Dundee Capital Markets, National Bank Financial, Macquarie Group, KERN Partners Ltd., Devon Energy, and Technicoil Corp. Their areas of expertise include equity sales, research analysis, and private equity in the energy industry.

Ryan Mooney, P.Eng., CFA completed their education from 2003 to 2008 at the Schulich School of Engineering, University of Calgary. Ryan earned a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Mechanical Engineering with a specialization in Oil & Gas Petroleum.

In addition to their academic background, Ryan Mooney has achieved further certifications. In August 2012, they obtained the Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) certification from The Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta (APEGA). Furthermore, in August 2014, they earned the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation from the CFA Institute.
